Manori Island:
For Peace,fun & Adventure
Its was hard to sit inside in such a wonderful monsoon rain of Mumbai,
i called up my friend and planned a little Adventure outside metro life.
Mud Island-in front of mumbai |
Our route - Versova to Mud-island-from there to Marve through Aksa beach- to Manori island.
we took a Boat from Versova, reached mud island, through the fishers village.
We drove to the end of lord Shiva temple, from there Mumbai looks spectacular.
We were planning back, but the Adrenaline inside refuses and we headed towards Marve beach.
Island was total at peace when we reached Manori, no more city here,we continue driving in the night on Manori countryside road, break free.
Then we packed our dinner and rented a room in a Bunglow, name "Love Bird".
Now the relaxing time,
in the night we have beers and chat with the fellow peoples around,
a little dog was very interested to join us,he was nice company for us.
we sat till our beer and talks - in the Rainy night.

Next day we woke up with the sound of coconut leaves and left our love bird.
from there we reached at the Manori end ,a monstrous kind of hill facing Arabian sea.
Arabian sea and beautiful Manori |
we can see and hear the sound of Arabian sea waves, which was showing us their power
in monsoon.
in monsoon.
After wandering for sometime on that hill, we decide to relax our legs and refreshing our energies for the next drive ahead. it was a wonderful feel sitting next to Arabian sea and hearing nothing but nature in its various forms.
Cycling around countryside, people have made Beautiful houses, farms and Bunglows ,Adventurer can stay their for a night.
The island.its not far from Mumbai, a quite place within reach of Mumbai and attraction with his own.
now we love the idea of spending time in and around Manori (any time)
