Honda XR650L: BUILD FOR LIFETIME ADVENTURE

Honda XR650L
It all starts in the engine where the 644cc OHC powerplant uses Honda's patented Radial Four-Valve Combustion Chamber  to put out huge torque and power. From there, a gear-driven counterbalancer minimizes vibrations, while a light, rigid chassis and long-travel suspension soak up the bumps and deliver superb handling on pavement and off. Handy electric starting simply makes it all that much easier.

The legendary XR650L is equally at home on the road and in the dirt.  dirt roads, single-track trails, highways or byways, the XR650L opens the door to riding adventure like few motorcycles ever have. With strong engine performance, comfortable ergonomics and long-travel suspension that easily handles two-up riding.

Yamaha Kodiak 450 ATV-ENJOY the wild side.

 Yamaha Kodiak 450

Push-button servo-controlled "On-Command" system allows you to switch between 2WD, limited-slip 4WD and fully locked differential 4WD - all with the simple push of a dash mounted button. Real 4-wheel drive when you need it. With Diff-lock engaged, there's no need to wait for one wheel to spin. You have traction to all 4 wheels, immediately. This puts you in total control... you decide when you need 4 wheel drive... the machine doesn't decide for you.

Ultramatic Transmission

Fully automatic transmission with engine brake and automotive style transmission lock parking mechanism.

Cooling System

High-capacity cooling system with high-mounted fan-cooled radiator for consistent engine performance, excellent durability and protection from sticks and rocks.

Independent Rear Suspension

IRS independent rear suspension, sway bar controlled. Sway bar added for limited chassis roll and great terrainability.

Speed Override
Differential lock speed override switch (forward only) allows owner to override the speed limiter for certain conditions.

Electric Starter

Electric starting with recoil backup (electric starter will work in any gear).

Frame

Computer-designed steel tube frame and rubber-mounted engine for a rugged, durable design and reduced vibration.

Information Centre

Digital information centre LCD display for speed, odometer and on-Command functions, as well as LED warning lamps.

DC Terminal

12-volt D.C. terminal provides a convenient power source for such accessories as cellular phones, handheld lights or GPS.

Rear Brake

Rear "wet" brake uses friction plates immersed in an oil bath and is sealed to keep out water and debris. This provides consistent braking performance, regardless of riding conditions.

Additional Features

•Internal engine counterbalancer minimizes engine vibration to rider.

•Spin-on oil filter simplifies oil changes.

•High-positioned carb air intake and clutch intake and exhaust vents prevent water from entering carb or V-belt cover.

•4WD front differential lock. Positive mechanical lock-up for maximum traction in 4WD. New forward speed override switch.

•Wide Grizzly type front fenders and new bumber design with excellent mud and splash protection.

•Dual 30-watt sealed headlights with replaceable bulbs provides excellent lighting, prevents water penetration and simplifies maintenance and reduces cost.

•25-inch Maxxis tires with all-new, more aggressive tire tread pattern for great traction and excellent durability.

BAJAJ PULSAR 200 NS first impressions

That was 2001 AND ITS 2012. ALL NEW pulsar 200 NS on the road.SINCE 180 pulsar i was waiting for something special from Bajaj .220 is also a beast but I was looking for something more special.
since the news of pulsar 200 ns came.i start wondering about the bike.now its running on roads in front of my eyes.
my first encounter with this bike happens in a parking, 200 NS was standing with other bikes.in red colour.
first look,my heart says brilliant, wooow. what I didn't like- REAR TYRE. rear tyre fails to satisfy my "VISUAL FEAST".
besides this, WHAT A FEAST OF THE BEAST.stunning bike & looks wonderful, fit and finish very good.

A 199.5cc , 4 valve ,3 spark plug, single cylinder engine,23.52 ps power and 18.3 nm torque..it can surely give the speed and thrill of a pure street bike.It shows in its character or read the history.

THE NAME IS - PULSAR

Since 2001 when the first pulsar start running on our roads, the youth of India got a new machine for them to enjoy, that too with a tag-  made in India.
before riding i love the thrill of visual feast. i don't like earlier breed of pulsars, although they were hit.

I start liking pulsar 150 with alloys, change in overall fit and finish, DTSi technology and a very distinctive looks.

I drove that model from Chandigarh to Kullu,on a very hot summer, with my friend as a pillion rider.i was impressed with the pick up and stability.since then i am  fan of pulsar range.
after 150 i drove  180. this time i was driving from my village in Himachal pradesh then we went to rewalsar beautiful small town, then to mandi. after reaching in mandi at 8 pm.we decided to go for prashar lake at a height of 12000 ft.the last man on road told us that nobody goes in the night uphill.
PULSAR 150  2005

believe me i ignored that man advice as i was accelerating pulsar 180 under me.. we were driving whole day in hilly terrain and the bike was still ready to go.we start driving on a ZERO road in the night.bike just kept its stability and behaves like a well trained pet.we fell more then 4 times on muddy roady in foggy cold night.bike starts again and we reached prashar lake. next day in the morning pulsar was ready. we drove in the himalayas and came back home safely.after 1000+ km on the meter.one thing pulsar maintains very well is its fuel Efficiency at 45-48 constant.Beside this there were no problem with the bike,as we were planning our next adventure.
PULSAR 180

first adrenaline pump for wheels

                                                 BMW R 1150 GS ADVENTURE

The first motorcycle who really caught my imagination and start living in my dreams.

For me thrill is the word which creates our life, it keep us going,it never fails,if you have it in you. my first major thrill came when i was a little boy ,when i was growing under my father's protection and mother's love.one day i was going alone on the beautiful road of a small town "Sarahan" in Himachal Pradesh. Walking alone on hilly curvy road, suddenly i saw people's sitting and standing on roadside, they were waiting for the sounds coming from other side of the curvy road. Then comes the moment- a bike came with roaring sound and  crosses with fury,in 5 second it was out of site.
